Cup on in-form stud graduate's programme
26 Mar 2019The latest success of Order Again has Eagle Farm trainer Brian Smith looking
toward the Gr.2 Brisbane Cup with the stayer.
The Goodwood Stud graduate won over 1500 metres on his home track at the
weekend, a distance short of his best.
Order Again showed rich promise over ground as a three-year-old when he
claimed the Gr.3 Grand Prix Stakes.
That pushed him to the fore of the Gr.1 Queensland Derby market, but injury
counted him out of a start.
He has been sparingly raced since, but his most recent run showed he was
back on track again.
A son of Iffraaj, Order Again is out of Glass Half Full, whose half-brother
Jetset Lad won a Brisbane Cup.
Goodwood sold a brother to Order Again at Karaka earlier this year to
Victorian Bloodstock for $210,000.
