Hirtshals added to proud family record
28 Feb 2019Goodwood Stud graduate Hirtshals has opened his autumn campaign in
outstanding fashion.
The five-year-old son came off a five month break to score in style at
Doomben yesterday.
The mare has now won five of her 19 starts for the Stewart brothers and
Eagle Farm trainer Brian Smith.
She was taken straight to the front by apprentice Baylee Nothdurft and was
never headed.
Hirtshals is a daughter of Pins and the Kinjite mare Burnzees Magic, a
productive combination.
They have also produced Hirtshal's brothers Barbaric and Mehrtens.
The former is a dual stakes winner and the latter broke his maiden at Foxton
last month.
Burnzees Magic hails from the Group One family of Silver Liner, Petrava,
Hoeberg and successful sire Jallad.
