Athena gets it right at Kranji

The genuine daughter of Nom du Jeu had earned a cheque nine times from her previous 10 appearances.
Trained by Cliff Brown, Athena’s breakthrough performance came in comfortable fashion over a mile.
She was originally prepared by John and Karen Parsons and transferred to Singapore after a trial win at Rangiora.
Athena is out of the unraced Howbaddouwantit mare Zingara, a three-quarter sister to the Group Three winner Howmuchyacharging.
It is also the family of the stakes winners Rock You, Marnie’s Magic and Whateverwherever.
