Pins filly on the board early
13 Apr 2017Hirtshals has made an encouraging start to her career in Queensland and this afternoon she opened her winning account.
In the money in all of her previous three appearances, the Pins filly was successful over 1000 metres at Caloundra.
A graduate of Goodwood Stud, Hirtshals is trained at Eagle Farm by Brian Smith and was ridden by Rick McMahon.
The three-year-old is a sister to the stud’s talented sprinter Barbaric, the stakes winner of eight races.
They are out of the Kinjite mare Burnzees Magic, who has also left the multiple winner Elusive Prince.
It represents the hugely-successful Fell family of the Group One winners Ajasco, Silver Liner, Petrava and Hoeburg.
