Victory prolongs mare’s career
06 Feb 2017The well-related four-year-old All In Vogue saved her racing career at Tauherenikau this afternoon.

She took a final warning seriously to turn her recent form around with a winning run in the WCM Legal Wairarapa Cup.

“That’s a great result,” trainer Kevin Gray said. “She has been very disappointing in her last two or three starts and this could have been her last race if she hadn’t showed anything.”

A half-sister by Pins to the Group performers What’s The Story and Base, she was given a sweet trip by Sam Collett and they surged clear in the straight to comfortably account for the last-start winner Sanjara.

Bred by Goodwood and Fairdale Studs, All In Vogue is a daughter of the triple Group One winner Tall Poppy.
