Order Again an exciting prospect for Goodwood
01 Dec 2016A pair of respected Queensland horseman have predicted a bright future for the progressive three-year-old Order Again.

Both trainer Brian Smith and rider Larry Cassidy believe the Goodwood Stud graduate is destined to make his mark in good company.

“I think he might make a lower grade winter carnival three-year-old,” Smith said.

“I don't want to be talking about the Derby just yet, but I do think he is a 2400 metre horse in the making.”

Smith said he would now enter Order Again for an open three-year-old race over 1600m at Eagle Farm on Saturday week.

At just his third start, Order Again was a runaway winner over 1400 metres on the Sunshine Coast yesterday in the hands of Cassidy.

“He should have won his previous start when he had no luck. He is promising,” he said.

Order Again was born and raised at Goodwood Stud and was bred by the stud with Cam and Chas Stewart who now race the gelding.

The late Rex Fell, who established the Palmerston North nursery with his son Will, enjoyed an association with the brothers through Jetset Lad, who was born and raised on the farm.

Order Again is out of Glass Half Full, a half-sister to the Group One performer Jetset Lad whose nine wins feature the Gr 2 Brisbane Cup and he also finished runner-up in the Gr 1 Railway Stakes.
