Goodwood graduate strikes at Sha Tin
21 Nov 2016World Record has opened his account in Hong Kong with a maiden victory at Sha Tin last night.
The Savabeel four-year-old scored over 1400 metres for trainer Tony Millard and jockey Chad Schofield.
The Goodwood Stud graduate’s breakthrough was expected, having placed at his previous two appearances.
Topping the 2014 Karaka select sale at $200,000 , World Record is a son of the Redoute’s Choince mare Run Brony Run.
She has a 100 per cent record at stud with Dream Run (Pins) and Fionn’s Kid (O’Reilly) also both winners.
Run Brony Run is a half-sister to the Australian stakes winner Midnight Hussler.
