Stud’s winning run continues
28 Feb 2015Goowood Stud’s recent run of racing success continued at Hastings this afternoon with Iffwedance turning on the style.
The Iffraaj four-year-old capped off a run of four consecutive placings with a victory over the Rating 65 stayers.
Iffwedance carries the Goodwood colours and was the farm’s fifth winner this month.
His success followed that of Dream Run, a gallant fourth in the Gr 3 Lowland Stakes, Serena Miss, Jonquil and Phantom Brew in Melbourne.
Iffwedance is a son of Iffraaj and the winning Soviet Star mare Merry Dance, who has also left the multiple winner Firstwedance (Howbaddouwantit).
The mare descends from the decorated Group One family Fell family of Fun On The Run and Tall Poppy
