Goodwood roll continues at Caulfield

Phantom Brew crowned a rewarding couple of days for Goodwood Stud with his victory at Caulfield this afternoon.

In his first appearance since December, Phantom Brew made the running to strike first-up over 1800 metres for trainer Colin Little.

“He's a lovely horse and been in work six months,” Little said.

“He pulled up sore after Flemington, but he loves stable life, he loves racing and he loves to bowl along.”

He was a $25,000 Karaka purchase out of Goodwood’s 2009 Select Sale draft and has now won six of his 26 starts.
