Top broodmare draft to Karaka
Goodwood Stud will offer a quality draft of broodmares at the upcoming NZ Bloodstock Winter Sale at Karaka.
The Palmerston North farm will consign five well-credentialed mares to the August 1 auction.
First through the ring is Mi Dragon Lady (Lot 13), who has been served by Non du Jeu.
By Chinese Dragon, she is a half-sister to the Gr 1 Ellerslie Sires’ Produce Stakes winner Mi Jubilee.
The stakes winning Redoute’s Choice mare Cabazon (Lot 60) is sure to attract plenty of attention.
She is from an international Group One family and has been served by Fully Fledged.
Chivalry (Lot 66) is a daughter of Oregon from the famous Belle family and has been served by Howbaddouwantit.
Multiple winner Double Elle (Lot 78) is by Generous and Gr 1 Telegraph Handicap winner Guiseppina features in her pedigree.
She has been served by Iffraaj while Just Peaches (Lot 96) has been to Burgundy.
Her only foal to race has been the winner Catwomandu and she is from the family of the Gr 1 Australian Derby winner Key Dancer.
