US imported mare Celtic Crown's first foal strikes at Otaki securing her first win for her trainer Karen Zimmerman.

Zimmzee is a daughter of Goodwood Studs former stallion Chinese Dragon and out of the stakes winning US mare Celtic Crown.

With good trial form and some unlucky runs leading up to this race Zimmzee finally stretched out and won impressively by two lengths.

Celtic crowns second foal recently sold for $100k at the magic millions yealing sales and is to be trained by Troy Corstens. She has a Savabeel weanling filly heading to Karaka next year and is in foal to Rock N Pop.
