14 May 2014A son of the former Group One Australian Derby winner and champion stayer Nom Du Jeu provided Goodwood Stud’s National Weanling Sale highlight.

The colt was snapped up by Courtco Racing for $12,000 on the openingday of the New Zealand Bloodstock auction at Karaka.

A half-brother to two winners, he is out of the winning Australian-bred Unbridled’s Song mare Unbridled’s Bronze.

Goodwood also sold a colt by Fully Fledged for $8000 to Wingatui trainer Paul Richards.

He is a half-brother to the winner Reasonabeel with their dam the Howbaddouwantit mare Every Reason.

It is the family of the Gr 1 Canterbury and Caulfield Guineas winner Beechcraft and the Gr 1 New Zealand Oaks winner Starline.
