Hardy southern mare Semper Plus added another winning strike to her record at Saturday’s Riverton meeting.

The Goodwood Stud graduate claimed the Rating 75 sprint to post the seventh win of her career.

Typical of the Howbaddounwantit breed – genuine, durable and versatile – she has now won nearly $65,000.

Semper Plus is out of the Star Way mare Grandiose who won two races.

She has left five winners, including Semper Plus’ Australian stakes performed sister Fantastic Angel.

They represent the famed Fell family of Gr 1 Railway Handicap winner Silver Liner.
